Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is proud to
introduce Susana with her daughter and her
two sons. Susy works for a home
cleaning agency as an administrative assistant.
Susy
can’t wait for the day her children will have a permanent
place to call home. Their former housing included places
where it was unsafe for the children to play outside. They
currently live with Susie’s parents because they are unable
to find an affordable place to rent that is also safe and
decent. The children all share a room. Her daughter
is all smiles when she talks about her new home – she is
especially looking forward to the day she will have her very
own room. It will be wonderful for the children to have more
stability in their lives and be able to stay in the same
school. “Homeownership will mean a lot to me – it will be my
future,” says Susy.
Susy has enjoyed doing her sweat
equity hours and she is glad her job has been supportive so
she could do her hours and have the time to care for the
children.
Susy and her children will be living in a home sponsored by Habitat Interfaith
Alliance. Susy said “This house means everything to me and
my children. Thank you so very much for making it possible.”
