In the warmth of a beautiful
Colorado afternoon, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver,
their community partners and new homeowners celebrated the
completion of their Aria Homes community in North Denver.
John Hall, the organization's Chief Operating Officer,
served as the event's master of ceremonies. John spoke about
the important role that faith partners serve in the mission
of Habitat for Humanity. In his own words, "Faith coalitions
also bring out multiple groups of volunteers throughout the
year to help build these homes; and they are the impetus for
other activities such as individual home blessings, new
homeowner welcome kits and supplying lunches for volunteer
groups. In short, our faith supporters are always thinking
about Habitat Metro Denver and our future homeowners, and
actively doing what they can to help make our mission a
success." John then acknowledged that all seven faith
coalitions supported Aria over the past two years. One of
the key highlights of the event was a new homeowner at Aria
sharing his experiences and gratitude becoming part of the
Habitat for Humanity family.
